Goran Vučević (born May 18, 1971 in Split ) is a former Croatian football player and coach .

With great expectations that brought 1. FC Köln the Croatian national team from the reserve team of FC Barcelona in the Bundesliga . It quickly became clear, however, that the midfielder could not fulfill this. The trainers at the time only used him nine times , first Peter Neururer , after his dismissal Lorenz-Günther Köstner . After FC relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1998 , Vučević initially went with. Bernd Schuster , who took over the coaching position, only used him a few times. In 1999 Vučević left the club and went back to his homeland. He has been an assistant trainer at Hajduk Split since 2005 . From May to autumn 2008 Vučević was the head coach of Hajduk Split, after his dismissal he was installed as head of the club's youth department in spring 2009.

After the dismissal of Stanko Poklepović , he took over the coaching bench of the 1st team from Hajduk Split as an interim coach. On December 28, 2010 he was introduced as the new head coach. He signed a contract for two and a half years.
