Gottberg is a district of the municipality of Märkisch Linden in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in the state of Brandenburg . The village has 223 residents (June 2, 2015).

Theodor Fontane mentions Gottberg:

“Gottberg is a mile east of Ganzer. Since the beginning of the last century, the owners have changed many times, but until then, especially during the Reformation and the Thirty Years' War, it was a Quitzow estate. "

history

Around 1490 Gottberg belonged to the Ruppin rule of the Counts of Lindow-Ruppin, which was essentially imperial .
