Gottfried Hofer von Lobenstein
Gottfried Hofer von Lobenstein (* 1665 , † February 22, 1732 in Leitmeritz ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and vicar general of the diocese of Leitmeritz and cathedral dean in Leitmeritz.
Gottfried Freiherr Hofer von Lobenstein, from the noble Hofer von Lobenstein family from Lobenstein and Doctor theologiae , was first dean in Budin an der Eger from 1700 , later the city dean of Leitmeritz. In 1715 he was appointed canon of the cathedral chapter of St. Stephen's Cathedral by Hugo Franz von Königsegg-Rothenfels , Bishop of Leitmeritz . From 1715 to 1720 he was vicar general of the diocese of Leitmeritz. In 1722 he was elected dean of the cathedral chapter and confirmed by Bishop Johann Adam Wratislaw von Mitrowitz ; he was in office until his death.
