Gottfried Wurche

Gottfried Wurche (born September 24, 1929 in Essen ) is a German SPD politician .

Wurche is a railroad official by profession. He joined the SPD in 1946. In 1972 Wurche became a member of the German Bundestag as a representative of Berlin . On June 3, 1975, he resigned his mandate prematurely and was replaced by Jürgen Grimming . From 1975 to 1978 Wurche was then district mayor of Berlin-Tiergarten and from 1979 to 1989 a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .
