Al-Farwaniyya Governorate ( Arabic محافظة الفروانية, DMG Muḥāfaẓat al-Farwānīya ) is the most populous of the six governorates of Kuwait in terms of the total number of inhabitants. It is the main residential area of ​​Kuwait and also forms an important part of Kuwait’s business activities. Faisal HM Al-Sabah has been the governor since May 2014 .
