Grégori Derangère (born March 27, 1971 in Montpellier ) is a French actor .

Derangère was born in Montpellier, where his parents studied medicine. He spent his childhood in Moscow , French Guiana and eventually in the suburbs of Paris . At the age of 21 he attended a course in dramatic arts on the famous Cours Florent de Paris under the professorship of actress Josephine Derenne . In 1993 he made his film debut in the television film Un air de liberté by director Eric Barbier . In 1995 he attended the renowned École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre (ENSATT) in Lyon .

In 1996, when he was 25, he starred in his first movie Anna Oz alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg . In 1999, the film 30 ans with Julie Depardieu , Laurent Lucas and Anne Brochet was made under director Laurent Perrin .

At the César Awards in 2002, the then 31-year-old was nominated for Best Male Young Actor for his role in the First World War film La Chambre des Officiers . For his portrayal in the 2003 World War II film Bon Voyage by director Jean-Paul Rappeneau , he was awarded the César for Best Young Male Actor in 2004.
