Just a few days after her 15th birthday, Onema Grace Geyoro played four games at the Nordic Cup with France's U-16 team  - at the time as a striker . In 2012 and 2013 she played five times with the U-17 and became world champion in 2012 . With the U-19, for whom she made a total of 20 appearances and scored five goals, she reached the semifinals of the European Championship in 2015 and even won the European Championship title in this age group a year later , scoring two goals in the 2016 tournament, one of them in the 2-1 final win against Spain. With the French U-20 she was runner- up in the same year . She also scored a goal at this World Cup in Papua New Guinea , in which she was on the pitch from kick-off during all six matches, and that again in the final. This time, however, their early opening goal only meant the consolation goal of the French in their 3-1 defeat against North Korea.

She made her debut in the French national team in January 2017 on Réunion against South Africa , where she replaced Sandie Toletti in the last 20 minutes . Five weeks later, national coach Olivier Echouafni took Geyoro to the SheBelieves Cup in the USA ; there she played against both the English and Germany for a full 90 minutes, against the German women in central defense alongside Wendie Renard . Echouafni then nominated her for the French European Championship squad in 2017 , where she played three of the four encounters over the full distance. For Echouafni's successor Corinne Diacre , Geyoro is the player “for the decisive pass”, even if Geyoro was no longer her first choice, especially in 2018/19. Nevertheless, it was taken into account in the French 23-man squad for the 2019 World Cup in their own country .

So far, she has played 31 international matches for the Bleues, in which she scored two goals. (As of March 10, 2020) The second of her goals, scored in November 2019 on the occasion of the European Championship qualification against Serbia , was a volley from outside the penalty area, which hit the inside edge of the crossbar and goal post and flew into the net from there; L'Équipe paid tribute to this artistic shot with the words "This should remain the most beautiful goal for a long time."
