Grasshopper Cup 2012

The Grasshopper Cup 2012 took place from April 23 to 28, 2012 in Zurich , Switzerland . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2011/12 and belonged to the International 25 category . It was endowed with $ 25,000.

The tournament was held for the first time since 2001. The winner at the time was Mark Cairns , who had since retired. In the final, Daryl Selby met Nicolas Müller , whom he defeated with 12:10, 11: 7, 8:11 and 11: 4. For Selby it was the eleventh title win on the PSA World Tour .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The four best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Reiko Peter a spot in the main draw.
