occupation

Grave Encounters is an American - Canadian horror film about the supernatural , shot in found footage style.

action

In 2003, Lance Preston, host of the ghost hunter reality TV series Grave Encounters , and his crew went to the abandoned Collingwood Psychiatric Clinic for an episode that has been reporting unexplained phenomena for years. Since they are of the opinion that it will be beneficial to the success of the show, they lock themselves in the clinic for one night. They must quickly realize that they are dealing with a force that dwarfs everything they have experienced so far. Not only is the building cursed or possessed by ghosts, it lives itself and makes no move to let its new occupants go. Lost in a maze of seemingly endless corridors and corridors and terrified by the ghosts of previous patients, Preston and his crew go mad. The recordings that were made that night will only be made available to the public years later.
