Green Naugahyde is the seventh album by the band Primus. It is the first studio album after the 1999 album Antipop and contains new material for the first time after the EP Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People, which was released in 2003 .
The two singles Tragedy's a 'comin and Lee van Cleef were released from the album, which was released on ATO Records and Prawn Song on September 12, 2011 .
The album's title is taken from the text of the title Lee van Cleef about a group of friends in a car with green artificial leather ( Naugahyde ) -Interior in a drive-in movies with Lee Van Cleef and Clint Eastwood View.

Siggy Zielinsky from Babyblauen Seiten gives the album a rating of 5/15: “If you've waited so long for a new Primus album, then you can really only be disappointed with Green Naugahyde . I would prefer to give zero points for this sham package and Larry LaLonde dismantling, because the topic usually misses the grade unsatisfactory in school . But one would ignore the fact that the claypool album would have come off comparatively well after its last albums that were not always consistently pleasing to me. "
