Greg Andrew Rikaart (born February 26, 1977 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actor . Since 2003 he has played in the US soap opera Shadow of Passion .
Life
Rikaart grew up in Staten Island , New York . He has an older sister, Keri. He graduated with honors from Villanova University in Virginia . During his studies, he spent a semester in Washington for a member of the US Capitol in Congress .
At the beginning of his acting career in Hollywood , he had guest appearances on series such as Gilmore Girls and No Mercy for Dad , his first major success he had in the series Dawson's Creek . There he played the role of David in the sixth season .
In 2003, he was initially cast for a brief appearance in the movie X-Men 2 before taking on the role of Kevin Fisher in the soap opera Shadow of Passion . In addition to his role in this series, for which he has already received a Daytime Emmy Award for best supporting actor, he also takes on guest appearances in other series. So in 2007 in the series CSI: Miami .
In 2015 Rikaart married the screenwriter Robert Sudduth.
