Gregory Greg Stewart (born May 21, 1986 in Kitchener , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has played for the Oklahoma City Barons in the American Hockey League since 2010 .

Career

Greg Stewart began his career as a hockey player with the Peterborough Petes , for which he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the Ontario Hockey League . During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2004 in the eighth round as a total of 246th player by the Montréal Canadiens . First, however, he played for a season for the Cincinnati Cyclones from the ECHL before he made his debut in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens in the 2007/08 season , for which he played a total of 26 games until 2010 and otherwise in the AHL was used.

In July 2010 Stewart was hired by the Edmonton Oilers , who used him with the Oklahoma City Barons .
