Gregor Tresher (bourgeois Gregor Trescher ; * 1976 ) is a German DJ , label owner and musician .

Act

Gregor Tresher began his DJ and producer career in Frankfurt in the 1990s. After two albums published on the Elektrolux label under his alias Sniper Mode , his breakthrough as a musician came in 2005 with his releases “Still” and “Neon”, his remix for Sven Väth's “Komm” and his contribution to the Cocoon compilation F “Full Range” Madness ”. His "A Thousand Nights" from the album of the same name, released in 2008, was Beatport's best-selling techno track of the year . Tresher founded his own label Break New Soil in 2009, on which his next studio albums "The Life Wire" (2009), "Lights From The Inside" (2011), "Nightcolors" (2013) and "Quiet Distortion" (2016) were released. He has published music for the record labels Drumcode , Ovum , Music Man , Cocoon , Great Stuff , Terminal M and Moon Harbor and made remixes for Depeche Mode , Moby , Mark Lanegan , Camouflage , Laurent Garnier , Sven Väth and Extrawelt . As a DJ (and since 2009 also as a live act) Gregor Tresher is a regular guest in clubs and festivals around the world.

In the readers 'poll of the Raveline magazine , he has received several awards as Best Producer , and his productions in Groove and Partysan magazines and in the Best Producer category in the annual readers' polls have placed him several times.
