Gregory Karotemprel CMI (born May 6, 1933 in Chemmalamattam ) is former bishop of Rajkot .
Life
Gregory Karotemprel joined the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate at and received on 17 May 1963, the priestly ordination . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Rajkot on January 22, 1983 .
The Archbishop of Ernakulam , Antony Padiyara , consecrated him bishop on April 24 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were Charles Gomes S.J. , Bishop of Ahmedabad , and Gratian Mundadan CMI, Bishop of Bijnor .
On July 16, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
