Greek figs from 1977 is an erotic comedy by the director of revue films and sex clothes Siggi Götz (Siegfried Rothemund). It premiered on January 20, 1977.

The sex comedy with Betty Vergès and Olivia Pascal in the leading roles is one of the films with which the television station RTL plus caught ratings in the early 1990s. These films ran late at night and had amazing market shares. First broadcast on RTL was on March 10, 1990. Olivia Pascal later became known primarily for the music show Bananas and the crime series SOKO 5113 .

Patricia is a revealing and unrestrained girl who travels through Greece on an erotic odyssey. Her parents give her a plane ticket to return to Munich, where she should continue her studies. Instead, she gives the ticket away and stays in Greece. During this time she met many men and women, with whom she played pranks and experienced erotic adventures. At some point she meets the sailor Tom in a harbor, with whom she takes a tour of the Aegean Sea, urinates standing up and learns to love Tom. She speaks her experiences on tape. Tom leaves her after an argument, but reunites with her at the end of the film.

Thomas Fritsch had a cameo appearance in the film, which is characterized by Zoten especially in the second half . Production manager Erich Tomek also starred as "Herr Doktor" at the beginning of the film. Greek figs grossed over $ 639,000 in just 49 days , according to the industry paper of the film subsidy agency "kinopress" and was particularly successful in England. In 1999, a remake based on the German original with several sequels was created in Hong Kong under the title The Fruit is Ripe .
