The Grillenparz , also Grillparz , is 842 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Traunviertel in Upper Austria . It is located in the municipalities of Oberschlierbach and Schlierbach in the Kremstal . The village of Oberndorf at the summit is part of Hausmanning .
The panoramic mountain is the local mountain of Kirchdorf and Schlierbach. On the summit meadow there is only a bench and a tree, the so-called summit larch. From the Grillenparz the view extends to the Kremsmauer and the Kremstal, in the Welser Heide up to the Mühlviertel . Hiking trails lead from Schlierbach, Kirchdorf and Micheldorf up the mountain.
The mountain achieved wider fame through the theater play Grillenparz by Thomas Arzt, named after it and premiered in Vienna in 2011 .
