The Moreton Bay Caucasus Myosotis ( Brunnera macrophylla ) is a species of the genus species-poor Caucasus Myosotis ( Brunnera ) in the family Boraginaceae (Boraginaceae). It occurs in the Caucasus .

Vegetative characteristics
The large-leaved Caucasus forget-me-not is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches stature heights of 20 to usually 40 to 50 centimeters. It forms a short rhizome as a permanent organ. The basal leaves are stalked 20 to 25 centimeters long. Their simple, dark green leaf blade is ovate-heart-shaped or triangular-kidney-shaped with a length of 20 to 30 centimeters.
Generative characteristics
The flowering time is depending on the location between April and June; it lasts three to four weeks. The large-leaved Caucasus forget-me-not forms a short, branched inflorescence with many flowers. The hermaphrodite flower is radially symmetrical and five-fold with a double flower envelope . The calyx is one millimeter long at flowering time. The blue colored crown is wheel-shaped with a diameter of three to seven millimeters and resembles that of a forget-me-not . The corolla tube is one millimeter long.
Chromosome number
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 12.
Occurrence
The large-leaved Caucasus forget-me-not has its home in the Caucasus of Georgia and Turkey in oak forests, spruce forests and mountain slopes at altitudes of 500 to 2000 meters. In Germany it can sometimes be found wild; in Austria's Alpine regions it is considered naturalized.

The large-leaved Caucasus forget-me-not is widely used as an ornamental plant in perennial beds and borders. The species has been in culture since 1825 at the latest. The variety 'Hadspen Cream' has a cream-colored leaf margin, 'Langtrees' has silver-blotchy leaves, 'Betty Bowring' has a white crown, 'Dawson's White' has a wide cream-white leaf margin.
