The Great Breitenbach ( Ruisseau Grand Breitenbach ) is a three-kilometer-long left tributary of the Andlau in the French department of Bas-Rhin in the Grand Est region .

The Great Breitenbach rises in the Forêt de la Ville de Strasbourg in the Central Vosges . It initially flows south and is fed by a small forest stream north of Loisenthal on its right side. A little later another stream flows to it on the other side. The Große Breitenbach now reaches the northern edge of Le Hohwald , crosses under the Rue Principale , makes a small arch to the right and shortly thereafter flows underground into the Andlau .
