The Große Ehberg is a 340 m high mountain in the Lippe district . It is one of the peaks in the Teutoburg Forest .

The mountain is located south of the Detmold district of Pivitsheide VL. The western slope drops steeply to the Dörenschlucht , which forms a flat transition over the Teutoburg Forest from Lippe to the Senne . There is a quarry and a landfill here . In the east, the Allhornberg rises to a height of 316 m above sea level. NN up.

- Several hiking trails lead to the Ehberg , one of which runs over the ridge. From its ridge you can see parts of the Westphalian Bay , as the summit and the southern flank are only sparsely forested. The Hermannsweg leads past its northern slope and the Lönspfad on the southern slope .
- In addition to the Großer Ehberg, there are two other peaks with similar names: 1.7 km to the northwest is the Kleine Ehberg at a height of 217 m above sea level. NN , on the slope of which the Rethlager Bach rises, and 2.3 km northeast of the Kahle Ehberg with a height of 224 m above sea level. NN , at the foot of which are the Hasselbachtal and the Hiddeser Bent .
