The large stone grave Barkow was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Barkow , a district of Barkhagen in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). Robert Beltz (1854–1942) kept it preserved in 1899, so it was only destroyed in the 20th century.

location

The grave was in the Blockkoppel forest between Barkow and Schlemmin . In the same forest is located in Kritzow the megalithic grave in the forest block coupling . The megalithic graves are located about 3 km to the southwest in the Sandkrug forest .

description
