The Gronetseck is a largely forested peak in the Bavarian Prealps . It is located in the mountainous and uninhabited southeastern part of the municipality of Gaißach . It is shown on the historical land map as Grainharts Eck .
An easy approach leads over forest paths and the Fockensteinhütte, which is just under 900 meters to the east and 34 meters higher at an altitude of 1312 meters, 64 meters north to a height difference of around 12 meters below the flat peak.
