The Luckenkopf is a wooded peak in the Bavarian Prealps . He forms with 1370 m above sea level. NHN north of the highest elevation of the Tegernsee mountains between the Lenggrieser and Tegernsee valleys, but is rarely visited due to its wooded location. There are no marked paths leading to the summit. Only the unmanaged Fockensteinhütte is nearby.
The summit forms the triple point between the municipal areas of Gaißach , Waakirchen and Bad Wiessee .
There are easy approaches via forest paths to the Fockensteinhütte from Bad Wiessee or Marienstein , from there briefly pathless to the flat and wooded summit.
