Grub an der March is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Angern an der March in the Gänserndorf district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 221 building areas with 68,273 m² and 115 gardens on 66,354 m² in the cadastral community of Grub an der March , in 1989/1990 there were 218 building areas, of which there were 222 buildings. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 538 and in 2009/2010 there were 230 buildings on 580 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980 200 hectares were used for agriculture, 31 hectares were cultivated and 47 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 185 hectares, vines were grown on 36 hectares and 47 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 164 hectares were used as agricultural land, wine was set out on 21 hectares and forestry was carried out on 55 hectares. The average soil climate in Grub an der March is 55.6 (as of 2010).
