Grub im Steigerwald (officially: Grub i.Steigerwald ) is a district of the municipality of Schönbrunn in the Steigerwald with 122 inhabitants.

Neighboring towns are (clockwise) Dankenfeld ( municipality of Oberaurach ), Neuhausen ( municipality of Priesendorf ), Trabelsdorf (municipality of Lisberg), Lisberg and Frenshof , Steinsdorf, Niederndorf, Schönbrunn, Oberneuses, Zettmannsdorf, Fröschhof (all municipality of Schönbrunn) and Schindelsee ( municipality of Rauhenebrach ) . The Franconian Marienweg runs through the village .
history
On May 1, 1978, the community of Grub was incorporated into the community of Schönbrunn in the Steigerwald.

In addition to the volunteer fire brigade Frenshof-Grub, there is the fruit and horticultural association Grub-Frenshof, the association of local farmers Grub-Frenshof, the Tipp-Club Grub and the VdK -Ortsverband Frenshof-Grub-Steinsdorf.

- August 15 ( Assumption of Mary ): Garden party of the Grub Tip Club
- First Sunday in September: Gruber Kerwa
On June 15, 2008 was the town organizer of the day of the open court , the day of the forest and the LSV Safety and Health Tags. The event attracted 12,000 visitors to the 130-souls location.
