Gry Tofte Ims (born March 2, 1986 in Sandnes , Norway ) is a Norwegian soccer player who played more than 300 league games for Klepp IL and played for the Norwegian women's national soccer team from 2010 to 2016 .

Career

Ims took part with the U-23 team in the 2007 Nordic Cup , in which Norway finished third, and scored 1-0 in the game against Sweden. Also in 2008 she took part in this tournament, this time it was only enough for fourth place. On January 13, 2010, at the age of 23, she made her first international match against China . In 2011 she was used at the Algarve Cup and was in the squad for the 2011 World Cup in Germany. In the preliminary round from the Norwegian team, she was used in two games. At the EM 2013 , in which Norway was runner-up, she was only used in the preliminary round against Germany , her last game so far. After Cathrine Dekkerhus was canceled for the World Cup qualifier against Greece on February 13, 2014, she was nominated on February 5, 2014 but not used.

She was also part of the squad for the 2015 World Cup . It was used in the first and second group matches and in the round of 16 against England , which lost their team 2-1 and was eliminated.

In January 2016, she came on short appearances in two test matches. After that she was still nominated for the Olympic qualification , but no longer used.
