Gschaid is a village in the market town of Altlengbach in the St. Pölten-Land district , Lower Austria .

The village is located east of St. Pölten in the Lower Austrian Pre-Alps and at the western end of the Vienna Woods . On January 1st, 2020 the village had 69 inhabitants.

history

In 1529 the town was destroyed by the Turks who besiege Vienna .
