Guará , officially Portuguese Município de Guará , is a city in the Brazilian state of São Paulo . A 2010 census showed a population of 19,858 people. According to official estimates, as of July 1, 2019, there were 21,220 people in Guará, who are called Guarens.
The city has an area of around 362 km² and is at an altitude of 573 m. The distance to the capital São Paulo is 405 km.
