Guará , officially Portuguese Município de Guará , is a city in the Brazilian state of São Paulo . A 2010 census showed a population of 19,858 people. According to official estimates, as of July 1, 2019, there were 21,220 people in Guará, who are called Guarens.

The city has an area of ​​around 362 km² and is at an altitude of 573 m. The distance to the capital São Paulo is 405 km.
