The Guatemalan national futsal team is a representative selection of Guatemalan futsal players . The team represents the Guatemalan Football Association at international matches. The team won the CONCACAF Futsal Championship for the first time in 2008 and took part twice in the Futsal World Championship .

Performing in tournaments

As the host of the 2000 World Cup, Guatemala took part in a World Cup for the first time and failed there with three points in the preliminary round. They lost to Brazil in the last group game with 2:29.

Already in 1996 they hosted the first CONCACAF championship and took fourth place. They did not take part in the following two continental championships, in 2008 they hosted again and won the tournament in the six-meter shootout against Cuba and at the same time qualified for the 2008 World Cup in Brazil with this success.
