Guido Fleige (born May 7, 1964 in Billerbeck ) is a former German football player .

Career

The striker Guido Fleige began his career at DJK-VfL Billerbeck and later moved to TSG Dülmen . Fleige came to the upper division Prussia Münster in the summer of 1987 through the association league team SpVg Emsdetten 05 through the mediation of his fellow student Michael Oenning . Fleige became champions with Münster in 1988 and 1989 and in 1989 he and his team made it to the 2nd Bundesliga . He made his professional debut on July 29, 1989 in the 2-0 defeat of the Prussians at Hertha BSC . Two years later Fleige got down with Münster and moved to VfL Gevelsberg . In 1993 he was transferred to SpVgg Erkenschwick , with whom he qualified for the newly created Regionalliga West / Südwest a year later . Fleige then moved to the amateur club Davaria Davensberg , with which he rose in 1995 in the association league. In 1999 he ended his career for professional reasons. Guido Fleige played 56 second division games and scored nine goals.

Guido Fleige studied German and sport and later worked as a teacher . Fleige has been working for the Arnsberg district government since 2014 .
