Guido Graf (born June 11, 1958 in Pfaffnau ; entitled to live there ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ). Since January 1, 2010, he has been a member of the government council of the Canton of Lucerne and heads the health and social department.

Life

Graf is a construction engineer and qualified association / NPO manager VMI at the University of Freiburg . He worked as managing director and chairman of the board of directors of Graf und Partner AG in Lucerne , which he founded and which takes on management tasks from NPOs.

From 1991 to 2006 Graf was a member of the Pfaffnau municipal council , where he was in charge of the construction department. From 1999 to 2009 he was a member of the Cantonal Council of Lucerne , where he headed the CVP parliamentary group from 2003 to 2009 . On September 27, 2009, he was elected to replace Markus Dürr , who had resigned, to the Lucerne cantonal government, and on January 1, 2010, he succeeded him as health and social director. On April 10, 2011, Graf was confirmed as the only candidate in the first ballot on the occasion of the general renewal elections. On March 29, 2015, he was re-elected for a further term in the first ballot with the best result.

Graf is married, has three children and lives in Pfaffnau.
