Guido Stetter (born December 16, 1955 in Gernsheim ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Stetter played from the 1977/78 season in the 2nd Bundesliga with VfR Bürstadt . In his first season in the second division, he went straight down again with the Hessians, with whom he had been promoted last year. Until 1981 he stayed in Bürstadt and always shuttled between the Oberliga and the 2nd division, in the 1979/80 season alone the class, the 2nd division, was held in 14th place in the final table. For the 1981/82 season Stetter moved to SV Darmstadt 98 in the Bundesliga . With the lilies he came in his first season to 29 appearances in league one and scored seven goals. He was the top scorer of his team behind Peter Cestonaro and Bodo Mattern . Darmstadt was relegated as the penultimate. Until the end of the first half of the 1983/84 season , Stetter played with the Darmstadt team in League 2. The rest of the series he laced his shoes for league rivals SC Freiburg , after which he ended his professional career.
