Guilherme (born October 22, 1988 in Imperatriz , Brazil ; full name: Guilherme Milhomem Gusmão ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

He played in the youth of Real Salvador and Cruzeiro. In January 2009, he switched players for Kléber and five million euros to Dynamo Kiev . In his first game from the start he scored three times. In August 2009 he was loaned to CSKA Moscow for a year . There, too, he was able to score two goals in his first game in a 3-0 win over Krylja Sowetow Samara .

For the 2015/16 Süper Lig season , he moved to Turkey for the first division team Antalyaspor in August 2015 . At the club he received a three-year contract. After just half a season, Guilherme went back to Brazil. In January 2016 he signed a contract with Corinthians São Paulo . He made numerous appearances in the 2016 season, but was loaned to league competitor Athletico Paranaense at the start of the 2017 championship round until the end of 2018 . Guilherme did not return to Corinthians for the 2019 season either. He was loaned to EC Bahia until the end of the year. The contract included an extension of one year. After the club won the Bahia National Championship , the contract was terminated early and Guilherme signed a contract with Fluminense Rio de Janeiro until the end of 2019.

When the loan deal with Fluminense expired, Guilherme's contract with Corinthians also ended. In 2020 he was without a new job until August. Then the Série B Club América Mineiro signed him.
