Guillermo Teodoro Elías Millares

Guillermo Teodoro Elías Millares (born November 16, 1953 in Lima , Peru ) is a Peruvian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Lima .

Life

Guillermo Teodoro Elías Millares received on 8 December 1981, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

At the Pontifical Institute “San Juan Pablo II” in Valencia , he completed a postgraduate course in pastoral theology with a major in theology of marriage and family. He was chaplain and pastor in the diocese of Carabayllo and in Alicante .

On April 13, 2019 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Turres in Numidia and Auxiliary Bishop in Lima. He was ordained bishop on July 6, 2019 by the Archbishop of Lima, Carlos Castillo Mattasoglio .
