Gundl Kutschera

Gundl Kutschera (born January 8, 1941 in Graz ) is an Austrian sociologist, health psychologist and clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, teaching coach, teaching supervisor and author. Since 1974 she has worked as a trainer, lecturer and university lecturer in Europe and the USA. She is the founder of the Kutschera resonance method and, together with Thies Stahl, was the first NLP teacher in German-speaking countries.

Life

From 1954 to 1962 Gundl Kutschera was a member of the Styrian and Austrian ski team. She won the bronze medal in the alpine combination discipline at the Winter Universiade in 1962. She has been married to the Austrian nuclear physicist Walter Kutschera since 1962 and has 3 children and 13 grandchildren (as of July 2014). She received her doctorate in sociology in 1973 with a doctoral thesis on pre-school education and then worked as a teacher trainer for family therapy and psychiatry at the Max Planck Institute in Munich in the child psychiatry department with Gertrude Bleek and in the social psychology department with Paul Innerhofer.

In 1978 she moved to the USA. She learned Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) from founders Richard Bandler and John Grinder . She also trained in gestalt therapy and systemic theories with Virginia Satir , hypnotherapy with Milton Erickson, and transactional analysis. In 1982 she was an NLP teacher at John Grinder in Chicago and California.

In 1982 she founded the Kutschera Institute, which is active in the areas of education and training, coaching, business, family / school, health and regional development. The company is currently based in Vienna with activities in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Romania. In the course of this, she developed the Kutschera resonance method, in which approaches from NLP , hypnosis , logotherapy , communication theories , systemic methods (including systemic therapy , systemic organizational consulting , systemic coaching ), experiential education , mental training and superlearning are integrated and further developed.

In 1986 she founded the Resonanz Foundation. The foundation supports social projects in Brazil, India, Russia, Romania.

In 2009 Gundl Kutschera founded the Talent Academy for Applied Research and Sustainable Development (TAK). The TAK wants to show that soft skills , like all specialist knowledge, can be taught and learned and that repeatable and predictable results can be achieved. Also in 2009 Gundl Kutschera founded the Institute for Social Competence (IFSK).
