Gustaf Douglas (born March 3, 1938 ) is a Swedish entrepreneur .

Life

He studied economics at Harvard Business School . After completing his studies, he headed the Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Expressen from 1973 to 1980 . He then founded the Swedish company Investment AB Latour in 1984 . Douglas holds significant shares in the Swedish company Assa Abloy and in the security company Securitas AB . Together with the Swedish entrepreneur Melker Schörling , he controls the company Securitas AB . According to the US Forbes magazine , Douglas is one of the richest Swedes.

Douglas is married to Elisabeth Freiin von Essen and has two sons. His sister Elizabeth (* 1940) is with Max Emanuel Herzog in Bavaria , his sister Dagmar Rosita (* 1943) was married to John Spencer-Churchill, 11th Duke of Marlborough .
