Gustav Bellermann

Gustav Christian Friedrich Bellermann (born June 7, 1838 in Berlin ; † January 12, 1918 there ) was a German teacher and writer .

Life

Born as the son of Johann Friedrich Bellermann , Gustav Bellermann studied Protestant theology and mathematics in Jena and Berlin after attending grammar school at the Gray Monastery . During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Jena fraternity in 1858/59 . In 1861/62 he served as a one-year volunteer . After his exams in mathematics and physics in 1864 , he became a senior teacher at the Königstädtisches Realgymnasium in Berlin in 1865 . In 1867 he was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD . In 1870/71 he took part in the Franco-German War . He became a professor at the Königstädtisches Realgymnasium and retired in 1906.
