Gustav Casimir Gahrliep von der Mühlen

Gustav Casimir Gahrliep von der Mühlen (* December 23, 1630 in Gripsholm Castle in Mariefred , Sweden; † 1717 in Altlandsberg near Berlin) was a Swedish-German physician, personal physician of Frederick I (Prussia) , entomologist and member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina " .

Gustav Casimir Gahrliep von der Mühlen was initially a city physician in Danzig , then an associate professor at the University of Frankfurt on the Oder and a doctor of the occupation in Colberg and Stettin . He then held the office of royal Prussian body medicine and became dean of the medical college in Berlin. He was also an entomologist and did miniature painting.

On March 15, 1690 Gustav Casimir Gahrliep von der Mühlen with the nickname AURELIANUS was accepted as a member ( matriculation no. 178 ) in the Leopoldina .

His daughter Louisa Dorothea married the civil engineer and painter Philipp Wilhelm Nuglisch in 1713 .
