Gustav Eriksson (born August 22, 1991 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Eriksson, who starts for the Falun-Borlaenge SK, took part in the Nordic Scandinavian Cup for the first time in Ulricehamn in February 2009 and finished in 114th place in the sprint. He made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in December 2010 in Düsseldorf and achieved 58th place in the sprint. His best placings at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 in Otepää were 11th place in the sprint and eighth place in the relay. In the following year he came at the U23 World Championships 2012 in Erzurum on the 51st place in the skiathlon , on the 42nd place in the sprint and on the 38th place over 15 km classic. In March 2012 he achieved 32nd place in the Wasalauf . At the U23 World Championships in Liberec in 2013 , he finished 37th in the 15 km freestyle, 35th in sprint and 17th in skiathlon. In the 2013/14 season he achieved his first top ten placements in the Scandinavian Cup in Vuokatti with eighth place in the sprint and in Meråker with seventh place in the sprint. He finished the Tour de Ski 2013/14 in 45th place. At the U23 World Championships in 2014 in Fiemme Valley , he achieved 31st place over 15 km classic and 30th place in sprint. In January 2017, he took 25th place in the 30 km mass start race in Falun and got his first World Cup points. At the following World Cup in Pyeongchang , he was fifth in the skiathlon and at the end of the season reached 70th place in the overall World Cup.
