Gustav Flaxland

Gustav Flaxland (born April 4, 1841 in Korb , † November 18, 1895 in Ulm ) was an Oberamtmann in Württemberg.

life and work

Gustav Flaxland was the son of a pastor. He studied criminal sciences in Tübingen . After taking the higher administrative service exams in 1866 and 1867, he began his professional career as an assistant at the Stuttgart city office . From 1868 to 1869 he was actuarial administrator at the Ravensburg Oberamt and from 1869 to 1870 Senior Actuary at the Riedlingen Oberamt . From 1870 to 1874 he was a police officer at the city of Heilbronn , from 1874 to 1876 a clerk at the Oberamt Weinsberg and from 1876 to 1879 secretary and cashier at the central office for trade and commerce. In 1879 he took up his first position as senior bailiff and board member at the Oberamt Calw . In 1987 he was transferred to the Oberamt Göppingen as a board member and was given the title of government councilor. His professional career ended from 1893 to 1895 as a councilor in the government of the Danube District in Ulm, where he died in service.

Honors

In 1890 Gustav Flaxland received the Knight's Cross First Class of the Order of Frederick .
