Gustav Gottheil

Gustav Gottheil (born May 28, 1827 in Pinne , † April 15, 1903 in New York ) was a reform rabbi in New York.

He studied and worked first under Samuel Holdheim , later in Manchester , from 1873 at the Temple Emanu El in New York.

He was the father of Richard Gottheil .
