Gustav Heinrich Kratz (born October 3, 1798 in Wintershagen near Stolpmünde ; † January 1, 1874 there ) was a German politician and Pomeranian landowner. He was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

The son of the landowner Johann Kratz visited the Conradinum in Jenkau near Danzig . He had to give up his desire to study theology and return to his parents' property when his father fell ill in 1813 and died a short time later. From 1815 he took over the management of the property independently. In 1839 he became district deputy in the Stolp district and in 1844 the first civil landscape councilor since the Pomeranian landscape was founded .

In June 1848 he moved into the Frankfurt National Assembly as the successor to Hans Hugo Erdmann von Gottberg for the 2nd constituency of the Pomerania province ( Stolp ), where he joined the casino faction. In 1849 he took part in the Gotha post-parliament . From 1850 to 1852 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Prussian State Parliament .

At that time he developed an eye disease that made him resign from office. In 1858, completely blind, he handed the Wintershagen estate over to his son-in-law Konrad von Uckermann. He continued to live on the estate and participated in the affairs of the county.

His son was the historian and archivist Gustav Kratz (1829–1864).
