Gustav Adolf Rebmann (born August 15, 1845 in Pratteln , † August 7, 1920 in Liestal ) was a Swiss politician .

Life

Rebmann graduated in Basel , the school and then a law degree in Basel, Göttingen and Heidelberg . In 1869 he was district administrator of the canton of Basel-Landschaft , from 1869 to 1872 he was a criminal judge, from 1872 to 1875 land clerk and from 1876 to 1914 a member of the government with the interior office.

During his term of office, the law on the organization and administration of municipalities fell from 1881. From 1887 to 1888 and from 1891 to 1892 Rebmann was also a member of the constitution . From 1872 to 1878 and from 1914 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank , and in the second term of office he was also a director. From 1889 to 1902 he was a member of the board of directors of the Swiss Central Railway , and from 1903 of the SBB .
