Gustav Theodor Goll

Gustav Theodor Goll (born February 5, 1822 in Biberach an der Riss ; † March 13, 1879 in Leonberg ) was a Württemberg chief bailiff.

Life

Gustav Theodor Goll was the son of a manufacturer. In 1852 he married Christiane Pauline Schall (1826-1896), a sister of the lawyer and member of the state parliament Karl Ludwig Schall . He attended the Latin School in Biberach and the Upper Gymnasium in Ulm. From 1839 to 1842 he studied law and criminal sciences in Tübingen . In 1842 he passed the first and in 1844 the second higher service examination. He began his professional career in 1844 as an actuary administrator at the Hall and Mergentheim authorities. From 1845 to 1852 he was senior actuary in Waldsee, Ulm and Ravensburg. From 1852 to 1858 he worked for the replacement commission, most recently as a government assessor. In 1861 he became a senior official at the Ehingen District Office , and in 1870 he moved to the Leonberg District Office . In 1879 he retired. He died that same year.

In 1876 Gustav Theodor Goll was awarded the Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Order of Frederick .
