Gustav von Bezold (Reich judge)

Gustav Adolf Albert von Bezold (born August 26, 1828 in Rothenburg ob der Tauber , † March 13, 1892 in Leipzig ) was a German judge .

Life

He came from the Bezold patrician family in Rothenburg. The physiologist Albert von Bezold (1836–1868) was his brother. He studied law in Munich and Heidelberg, among others. Bavarian Bezold was sworn in on October 1850. In 1857 he was appointed assessor at the district court and in 1862 as district judge in Augsburg. In 1874 he was promoted to the appellate judge. In 1879 he was promoted to the higher regional judge. May 1882 he came to the Imperial Court. He was in the III. Criminal Senate and in the VI. Civil senate of the Reichsgericht active. He died in office.
