Gustav Moritz Casimir Ludwig August Otto Arnold Georg Hermann Gumbrecht, 4th Prince of Bentheim-Tecklenburg (born October 4, 1849 in Haus Bosfeld , † May 19, 1909 in Rheda ) was a Westphalian nobleman and member of the Prussian manor house . Gustav zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg came from the aristocratic family of Bentheim-Tecklenburg . His parents were Adolf Ludwig Albrecht Friedrich Prince of Bentheim-Tecklenburg (1804–1874) and Princess Anna Karoline Luise Adelheid Reuss-Schleiz-Gera (1822–1902).

Gustav zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg married on April 12, 1888 Thekla von Rothenberg (1862–1941), daughter of Count Adalbert zu Erbach-Fürstenau (1828–1867) from his morganatic marriage with the 1859 as "Frau von Rothenberg" in the Hessian nobility collected Charlotte Willenbücher (1839-1914). The couple had a son, Adolf (1889–1967).

Life

Gustav zu Bentheim was a Prussian first lieutenant à la suite and a legal knight of the Order of St. John .

In 1885 he inherited the rulership of Rheda from his uncle Franz zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg and the associated hereditary seat in the Prussian mansion , which Gustav zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg held from 1885 until his death in 1909.
