Gustavo Claudio da Silva (born August 20, 1988 in Rio de Janeiro ), also called Gustavo , is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Gustavo played for the Brazilian clubs Barra Mansa FC , Bangu AC and Aperibeense FC from 2008 to 2010 . Where he played in 2011 is unknown. From 2012 to mid-2013 he was under contract with Citizen AA in Hong Kong . With the Citizen he reached the finals of the Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield in 2013 . Here they lost to Tai Po FC on penalties. In July 2013, he moved to Yuen Long FC, also based in Hong Kong . With the club he played in the first division, the Hong Kong Premier League, until mid-2016 . In 2016 he was with the club in the final of the Hong Kong FA Cup . Here they lost on penalties to Hong Kong Pegasus FC . After the end of his contract he was without a contract or a club from July 2016 to December 2016. From January to May 2017 he played again in his home country for AE Velo Clube Rioclare . In mid-2017 he went back to Asia where he signed a contract in Thailand with Thai Honda Ladkrabang . With the Bangkok club he played in the first division, the Thai League . After the end of his contract in December 2017, he was again without a contract or association until July 2018. The 2018/2019 season he played in Malta for Pembroke Athleta FC . With the club from Pembroke he played in the second Maltese league, the First Division . Since the contract in Pembroke was not extended, it was again without a contract in the second half of 2019. At the beginning of 2020, he was signed by the Thai third division club Nakhon Si United FC from Nakhon Si Thammarat .
