Guus de Serière (March 5, 1893 - December 30, 1980 ) was a Dutch football player . He played two international matches against Belgium for the Dutch national soccer team in 1911 and 1912 .

career

The attacker de Serière belonged to HVV Den Haag , with which he was able to win the Dutch football championship in the 1913/14 season . During this period, HVV was one of the dominant teams in Dutch football with other players such as Jan van Breda Kolff , Constant Feith , John Heijning , Guus Lutjens , Karel Heijting , Tonny Kessler and Dé Kessler .

Guss de Serière made his debut on April 2, 1911 in Dordrecht in the international match against Belgium in the national team. The coach was Edgar Chadwick , he played in the 3-1 win on half left and had his two club colleagues Lutjens and Breda Kolff by his side. A year later, on April 28, 1912, again in Dordrecht, he played his second international match. This time the Netherlands won 4: 3 against Belgium and center forward Mannes Francken from HFC Haarlem scored three goals. In this international match, the HVV class was underlined by the participation of the players Feith, Heijning and Breda Kolff. With his second international game, Guus de Serière's national team career ended in the "Elftal".
