The Herzogenaurach grammar school is a scientific, technological and linguistic grammar school in the Middle Franconian town of Herzogenaurach in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district .
history
In August 1973, a grammar school in Herzogenaurach was included in the school development plan - initially it was a Progymnasium . On September 14, 1974, the Herzogenaurach grammar school began with 175 students and twelve teachers under the direction of Theo Marabini. It was not until the 1980/81 school year that an upper level was added.
From 1984 to 2015, a school exchange was established with the French twin town of Herzogenaurach Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire ; this has been carried out with Châtellerault since 2014 . At the moment there are mostly exchanges with students from St. Petersburg , Barcelona and England every year.
The high school is a pilot school for the Ricoh company in the area of analysis and equipment of a school with classroom technology and administration. It is a member of the isi network of the Bavarian Education Pact Foundation .
