The Hälbich buildings ( English Hälbich buildings ), also Erf 46 & Hälbich buildings or The Hälbich Branch have been a national monument of Namibia since April 1, 1986 . Eduard Hälbich's office building and surrounding buildings are located on the main street in Karibib and were built between 1899 and 1907.

The building was partially demolished at the beginning of 2016 without the approval of the Namibian Monument Council . The final demolition took place at the end of 2018 with the approval of the Monument Council and the requirement to rebuild the facade of the main building true to the original. A Woermann & Brock supermarket is to be built here (as of 2016) .

The complex on Erf No. 46 included the former trading house (built in 1899) as well as residential quarters and storage rooms (1900 to 1907), a fence and a workshop for ox wagons .
