The teams in the first eight places were divided into two groups. The teams in first to fourth place were awarded additional points (two points for first and second place, one each for third and fourth place), which they can take with them into the round. The first and second placed in these two groups played against each other in the semi-finals.
In the event of a tie, it is not the direct comparison or the goal difference that is decisive, but the placement in the main round.
